The demand of civil Engineers is increasing & with the advancement of technology with widespread application of IT, the involvement of civil engineers has increased. They are involved to provide all necessary infrastructures for raising any industry or any other development activity as planners, designers, builder, managers, consultants, infrastructure developers & educationists.
To achieve the desired goal, the institute has inducted Prof. (Dr.) N. D. Das, a retired Senior Scientist from Govt. of India, as Dean in the department to avail his long experience for developing its laboratories and initiate the R & D activities.

Further Prof. R.K verma is head of civil Engineering Department, post graduate from Indian institute of science Bangalore (1968). He has long execution experience for urban infrastructure & housing development adopting various new techniques developed by CBRI and retired as Chief Engineer, He has been consultant to LICHFL Care Homes Ltd. Mumbai and in academic activities with many Engineering Colleges.

The Department of civil Engineering offers 4 years B.Tech course in civil Engineering. The course curriculum is as per syllabus of Mahamaya Technical University Noida. The Department has vision to develop and make each laboratory, a full- fledged one having modern equipments and instruments to carryout, not only the routine academic and research activities but also to cater high quality technical consultancy services to government and private organizations in the various fields of civil Engineering.

The backbone of civil engineering training is to adopt a culture of exposure through relevant case studies in each individual subject and deliberation. The students are encouraged to take up the case studies so that, in their profession they could face the challenges in the field. These endeavors would prepare students for the contents, not included in the syllabus but relevant for further application in practical life.
