M.Pharmacy is a two year Post Graduate course. This course is designed to give a comprehensive and advanced knowledge and experimental skills regarding all aspects of drugs. This course comprises various subject specializations to give the knowledge and practical skills regarding the synthesis /extraction of drugs, formulation of drugs into various dosage forms like tablets, capsules, injections etc, analysis of drugs and dosage forms, testing of drugs and dosage forms on animals / human volunteers and the legal requirements for manufacture and sale of drugs and dosage forms by a company and discovery of new drugs and dosage forms. M.Pharmacy course is available in various specialization subjects .
The first year comprises of two semesters course work , The second year is also two semesters research project work . At the end of fourth semester the project work will be submitted in the form of thesis to the respective university .
